Shimano PD-M530 SPD Pedals

This wider cage Shimano Deore-quality SPD pedal offers more support and is even easier to click into than more minimal clip-in pedals.

Otherwise, this great value pedal has all the features that has made 'SPD' the generic term for clip-in pedal systems where the cleat is fixed to the recessed section of the sole. The result - a cycling shoe you can comfortably walk in when you get off the bike.

  • Shimano PD-M530s have a wider cage than the majority of SPD Pedals.
  • The wider cage offers more support, even when the cleat is not engaged.
  • The wider cage makes it even easier for your foot to locate the cleat retention mechanism, making PD-M530s are even easier to step into.
  • With cleat bindings on each side of the pedal, Shimano PD-M530 SPD Pedals are right way up every time you clip into them.
  • The pedal's open design sheds mud quickly when used off road.
  • Designed as a mountain bike pedal, the Shimano PD-M530 works equally well for everyday use, commuting, training and touring.
  • Adjustable spring tension adjuster.
  • Smooth-spinning, reliable sealed cartridge bearings ensure longevity.
  • Supplied with one pair of SPD cleats.
  • Manufacturer's published weight: 455g per pair without cleats.

' A perfect product for trail riders on a bit of a budget. 10/10.' MBR magazine: August 2011.
