Upgrades from Marin Palisades Trail
The Bear Valley is not so much an upgrade, more a tempered steel alternative to the Palisades Trail.

  • Again, instead of using stock frame tubing, Marin employ custom-drawn specially shapedOvation Edge CrMo steel tubing.
  • Tri-burner chainstays and seatstays not only optimise strength and lightness, their triangular shape improves frame stiffness around the brake bosses for improved V-brake performance, while their pared-down shape improves tyre clearance.
