3 June UPDATE:
Our Packster has been very busy! Cathy Miller from Streetwork, has told us that the cargo bike has been out every day, to Pret A Manger,M&S and Tesco to collect sandwiches, salads, drinks, crisps, juice and fruit for lunch to Cairn homeless hostel.
Streetwork are currently supplying food, paint, hand sanitiser, you name it – all through a team of Street Cycle volunteers, and with generous food donations from the big retailers. We responded to a call out on Twitter, and brought our cargo bike down from Aberdeen to help the team out.
The Streetwork team have borrowed a Riese and Muller Packster 60 Touring. There is space in its cargo area for two children, who can be be covered by an optional rain cover (in Scotland, yes please!). It also has flexible load transport of up to 200kg, adjustable seating position, which means multiple riders can easily share the bike, and top of the range Bosch Performance motor. See more R&M Cargo bikes.
