We have changed the way we operate to keep our customers and staff safe during Covid-19, including pick up and drop offs outside the store, gloves and sanitiser in store, and markings on the floor to maintain social distance. If you’d like to wash your hands, please ask a staff member. Thanks for your patience.
Our bike shop in George Street, which was the top-voted bike shop in Aberdeen by Cycling Weekly, has long been established as the place to go in Aberdeen to view a vibrant selection of bikes and cycle equipment from some of the world’s leading bicycle brands including Brompton, Specialized, Giant and Whyte.

ELECTRIC CARGO BIKES
We are proud to announce we are now stocking a range of electric cargo bikes. Book a demo electric cargo bike from our Aberdeen store so you can see if it’s right for you and your family or business. We can also advise on grants and loans available.
Come in and see our range of Bromptons in our Aberdeen store and speak to one of our experts if you have any questions. The Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative Aberdeen store is an Authorised Brompton Retailer which means our staff are trained and can offer help in choosing a bike and with the initial set up. Pop in store to see the range or book yourself a demo.
Before the Aberdeen cycle shop became a branch of the Bike Co-op in 2002, our George Street bike shop was called Cycling World. Les Simpson – a talented, local road cyclist – was the shop manager. Les (who started working at Cycling World in 1983) continues to work in the shop under the Bike Co-op banner to this day.
As part of a radical refurbishment (completed December 2014) to improve the whole layout of the bike shop in Aberdeen, we created a brand new workshop. With twice as many workstations as our previous workshop, we are confident that this is the largest cycle repair service centre in northeast Scotland.
With its new entrance at the back of the store, our workshop can now be accessed directly from the shop’s car park, making it even more convenient for you to wheel your bike(s) in to take advantage of our comprehensive workshop services.
