The 100mm suspension fork smooths out roots and rough surfaces, while the integrated kickstand and MIK rear rack make it practical enough for a stop at the shops on the way home.
Motor and battery
The SyncDrive Sport 2 motor gives strong, consistent pedal assistance across varied terrain. The 430Wh battery is removable for indoor charging, and if you need more range for longer rides, an optional 200Wh range extender is available. For most UK riders mixing trail riding with town use, the standard battery will cover a solid day out.
Security
This is where the Tempt E+ EX stands apart from a lot of bikes at this price. The E-Lock system lets you lock the bike remotely through the RideControl App or the handlebar control unit. Apple Find My compatibility means you can locate the bike using your iPhone, and the built-in anti-theft system sounds an alarm and sends alerts to your phone if the bike is moved. If you're locking up outside a cafe or at work, that's a welcome layer of security.
A Recon front light is integrated too, adding visibility for early morning commutes or late autumn rides home.

If you've found other electric mountain bikes too heavy, too long in the reach, or uncomfortable on longer rides, the Tempt E+ is worth trying.
It's well-suited to UK trail centres, towpaths, gravel tracks, and daily commuting. If you're after a pure downhill bike or a lightweight road machine, this isn't the one. But as a do-everything Liv Tempt e-bike, it covers a lot of ground.
The Sandshell colourway is a warm, muted neutral that looks clean and doesn't show dust or light mud too badly.
