LOOK Keo Blade Carbon Power Dual pedals: know exactly what your training is doing
Putting in the miles is one thing. Knowing they're actually making you faster is another. If you've been training hard but you're never quite sure whether you're improving, pacing a climb on feel and blowing up halfway, or guessing at your effort on the turbo, that's the gap these pedals close.
The Keo Blade Carbon Power Dual measures the power you put through each pedal, so your training stops being guesswork and starts being something you can see, trust and build on.
Data from both legs, in real time
Electronic components sit inside each pedal axle and read the important numbers as you ride: watts, left/right balance, cadence and more. Because it measures both pedals rather than doubling up one side, you get a true picture of how your legs are working.
If you've come back from an injury and suspect you're favouring one side, or you've always wondered why one leg tires first, this is where you find out. The numbers show up live on your bike computer or phone, so you can hold a target on a long climb instead of going too hard early and paying for it later.
Accurate, and reliable when the weather turns
The pedals give repeatable readings with accuracy of around 1%, and a built-in temperature compensation algorithm keeps them honest whatever the altitude or weather does. That matters here. A cold, damp winter ride shouldn't throw your figures out, and with these it won't. The lithium batteries are sealed inside the axle, so there's no water getting in and no corrosion to worry about over years of British riding.
Quick to fit, easy to live with
Setup takes about 30 seconds. They go straight onto your bike without changing your position or cleat settings, then calibrate automatically and connect over Bluetooth or ANT+ from your computer or phone in a few minutes. There's a dedicated app for iOS and Android to fit, calibrate and update them, and registering your pedals through it gets you extras like crash replacement and extended cover.
Light enough to forget they're there
At 260g the pair, these are among the lightest power pedals you can buy, with a 705 mm² contact area and a full carbon body and blade for a solid, efficient platform. Battery life runs to around 60 hours, so they'll see you through plenty of long rides before both pedals recharge together via a magnetic connector and USB cable. LOOK back them with up to 3 years of warranty.
Who they suit
These are for riders who train with a plan and want proof it's working: racers, sportive and audax riders, and anyone chasing a personal best rather than just turning the pedals. If you don't care about numbers and ride purely for the joy of it, you won't need them. But if you've been training seriously and want to know your effort is going somewhere, this is the tool that tells you.
