The lightweight composite frameset has been updated significantly over the previous generation, shedding more than 160 grams while also bringing a lower bottom bracket, longer reach, and a steeper head tube angle into the mix. The result is a Giant gravel bike that accelerates more sharply, climbs more efficiently, and generally feels more alert than the already well-regarded model it replaces.

• FAST AND LIGHT The Advanced composite frame and fork are doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. That 160-gram weight saving over the previous model is noticeable when you're pushing the pace on a long climb or trying to keep momentum on a loose, punchy ascent. • TUNED COMPLIANCE Dropped seatstays with thin tubing take the edge off road vibrations and repeated small impacts before they reach your lower back. The D-Fuse handlebar and seatpost work together as a system, adding compliance through the contact points that matter most, without softening the frame's response when you're cornering hard or sprinting for a gap. • ADAPTABLE TO THE TERRAIN The flip chip on the rear dropout gives you genuine flexibility depending on what's ahead. The long setting also opens up tyre clearance to 53mm, which gives you real options when it comes to rubber choice. Run something fast and semi-slick for road-heavy rides, or go wider and knobbier when the conditions call for it.

Seatpost options are flexible too. The included D-Fuse post maximises compliance across the board, but you can swap to a 30.9mm round post or fit a dropper if you want a bit more capability on technical descents.

The Giant Revolt Advanced sits in a slightly different place to the Revolt X Advanced Pro, without the front suspension, but still with all the frame compliance and geometry adjustability that makes the Revolt platform so well suited to British mixed-terrain riding.
