The Specialized Sirrus X 2.0 Step-Through takes everything that makes the standard Sirrus X a capable hybrid and adds a low-step frame. Getting on and off is easier, which matters more than you'd think when you're stopping at junctions, hopping off at the shops, or riding in everyday clothes.
Easy mounting, same performance
A step-through frame doesn't mean a slower or less capable bike. This Specialized step-through bike uses the same A1 alloy construction, the same geometry principles, and the same components as the regular Sirrus X 2.0. Tube sizes are selected for each frame size individually, so the ride stays balanced and responsive regardless of your height.
Comfortable for longer than you'd expect
The slightly upright riding position keeps pressure off your wrists and lower back, and 40c Pathfinder tyres with Gripton compound absorb the kind of rough surfaces UK roads throw at you daily. Cracked tarmac, gravel shortcuts, uneven cycle lanes, the Sirrus X Step-Through rolls through all of it without jarring your hands and shoulders.
Simple gearing, reliable braking
One chainring, nine speeds (11-46t cassette). The range covers flat canal paths and moderate hills without overcomplicating things. No front mech to adjust, no chain drop worries. Hydraulic disc brakes pull evenly in the wet, which is a genuine comfort when you're riding through a British autumn.

Who is this bike for?
The Specialized Sirrus X 2.0 Step-Through suits riders who want a Specialized low-step hybrid bike for commuting, fitness, or general getting about. It's a practical Specialized commuter hybrid bike for weekday rides to work and a capable bike for longer weekend spins on mixed surfaces.
If mounting a traditional frame feels awkward, or you'd simply prefer not to swing a leg over a high top tube, this is worth a look.
