Nothing this powerful has ever felt this agile. The Specialized Levo R Comp Alloy takes the SuperNatural motor platform from the Levo 4 and strips away the restraint.
Light, tight, and ready to fight, the Turbo Levo R channels that power into something rawer and more responsive. Like a rally car let loose on dirt, you and the bike find a rhythm together, stealing flow from every corner, every root, every loose patch of trail.
This is what Specialized calls Electric Rally. Ride it once and the name makes complete sense.
What makes the Levo R Comp different
The Specialized Levo R Comp Alloy sits in a specific spot in the range. It shares its motor DNA with the flagship Levo 4 but runs on an aluminium frame, keeping the weight sensible and the price more accessible for riders who want serious trail performance without the full carbon outlay.
The Specialized 3.1 motor is the main event. 105 Nm of torque and 810W of output means you won't be left wanting, whether that's grinding up a long Welsh fireroad climb or threading singletrack in the Peak District. The 840 Wh battery gives up to five hours of riding, which for most people means a full day out. Add the optional Range Extender and you're into genuinely long-distance territory.
Suspension: FOX GENIE rear, FOX 36 SL front
The rear suspension runs through a GENIE linkage system developed with FOX specifically for this platform. It keeps the bike composed when the power is on and the trail turns rough. Up front, 140mm of FOX 36 SL handles the chunk without adding unnecessary weight.
130mm at the rear makes this a trail bike first. Fast, flowing, and capable on technical singletrack, but not an enduro sled built for committing DH lines every weekend. If that's your riding, there are better tools. For everything else, the geometry and travel balance here is well judged.
SWAT storage and geometry adjust
SWAT internal storage means your pump, tyre levers, and a tube live inside the downtube rather than in a pack. The geometry adjust system lets you fine-tune the ride feel as you get to know the bike, without swapping parts or visiting a workshop.
Who this suits
This Specialized electric mountain bike is for confident intermediate to experienced trail riders who want full power and proper suspension from a comp alloy e-MTB, and don't need a carbon frame to get it.
If you're new to e-MTBs or mostly riding easy gravel paths, this is more bike than the situation calls for. But if you ride trail centres regularly and want a Specialized e-MTB that genuinely keeps up, the Levo R Comp delivers.
The Satin Metallic Deep Marine colourway is one of the cleaner options in the 2026 range, a deep blue-green that sits somewhere between subtle and distinctive on the trail.
