Merida Etmo 800 Electric Mountain Bike in Anaconda Green/Grey

Season:2026

Brand:Merida

Code:P-R930

Plenty of people fancy an e-MTB but stall at the price, unsure whether to drop serious money before they know they'll stick with it. The Merida Etmo 800 is the sensible way in. You get proper trail performance without a hit to your wallet, so more runs, more fun and more time out on the hill without the financial gamble.

Serious ability, friendlier price

This is Merida's most price-focused Bosch-powered e-MTB. They've poured their aluminium frame know-how into a tough 160mm travel frame inspired by the award-winning eOne-Eighty, then made it more versatile and affordable. It's backed by a lifetime frame warranty for Category 4 all-mountain and enduro use, which is reassurance that you won't ride past what the bike can handle in a season or two.

Power for full days out

The Bosch CX motor puts down 100 Nm, and the big 800 Wh battery means you can lap your local loops all day or head off exploring for hours. For anyone who has cut a ride short while the battery gave up, that range changes how much you actually get done.

Handling that suits everyone

Mixed 29/27.5in wheels and proven geometry give a ride that's stable and confidence-inspiring, but still lively enough to keep experienced hands grinning. New to mountain biking? It won't intimidate you. Been riding for years? It'll still egg you on. Marzocchi's Bomber suspension, with a stout 38mm stanchion fork, soaks up the rough stuff at both ends.

The kit

  • Advanced LITE aluminium frame, 160mm travel
  • Mixed 29/27.5in wheels
  • Bosch CX 100 Nm motor, 800 Wh internal battery
  • Marzocchi Bomber Z fork and Bomber Air shock
  • Shimano XT brakes and XT Linkglide 11-speed drivetrain
  • Reynolds 309 tubeless-ready wheels, Continental Kryptotal tyres
  • Lifetime frame warranty, Category 4 AM and enduro

Who it suits

The Etmo 800 fits riders who want a capable all-mountain e-MTB without paying flagship money, from first-timers to seasoned riders after a solid-value second bike.

If you only ride mellow, flowy trails, a shorter-travel model would do, and if you race elite enduro you'll want something more specialist. For most riders wanting one Merida electric mountain bike to do it all, this Merida eMTB earns its keep.
