Tru-Build 700C Disc/V-Brake Hybrid Wheel

Good quality handbuilt, 700c aluminium alloy QR front and rear wheels for hybrid/trekking/touring/cross bikes with disc brakes

  • 700c 36 hole Mach 1 240 aluminium alloy rim
  • 36 spokes make these wheels intrinsically stronger than equivalent production bike wheels which generally come with 32 spokes or fewer
  • Available in 2 versions - each sold individually
  • Front wheel
  • Rear wheel freehub - takes 8, 9 or 10-speed cassette
  • With its better balanced axle, a wheel built on a freehub is intrinsically stronger than one made for a screw-on freewheel
  • Note that the freewheel or cassette is sold separately - find a selection here.
  • Supplied with QR (quick release) skewer
  • Colour: Black

'The Tru-Build range of wheels are leaders in the cycle industry, offering the most comprehensive and complete range available. Every wheel is built to the same exacting standards as our Pro-Build range, by hand, here in Nottingham.'

I have a Revolution Cross bike, 8-Speed, disc brake. Would this be a suitable replacement rear wheel? Is there a difference between 8, 9 or 10 speed? There is no option to specify speed when ordering. What range of tyre widths are suitable?
