SRAM GX Type 2.1 1x11 Rear Derailleur

This GX rear mech boasts all the SRAM technologies that make for a reliable, hard-wearing derailleur for a wide range 1x11 SRAM drivetrain.

  • Capable or running a massive range or gears over a 10-42 cassette
  • Made for single chainring drivetrains
  • The X-Horizon ‘straight parallelogram' design limits movement to the horizontal axis to ensure fast accurate shifting and reduces shift force, ghost shifting and chain slap
  • The Roller Bearing Clutch helps eliminate derailleur bounce and chain slap
  • The large 12t upper pulley maintains a constant gap between the chain and the jockey wheel in every gear
  • These jockey wheels spin on sealed cartridge bearings
  • Maximum rear cog size: 42t
  • The aluminum Cage reduces weight
  • Manufacturer's published weight: 265g
  • SRAM Cage Lock makes it easier to remove/fit the rear wheel

'Leveraging the legendary history of SRAM shifting, the GX 1x11 rear derailleur provides incredible shifting speed and precision. X-ACTUATION™ technology eliminates slop and shifting variation. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH™ technology delivers maximum drivetrain stability—even through the most punishing terrain. And with CAGE LOCK™ technology, wheel removal and installation are easier than ever.'
