Kalkhoff Endeavour Move i9 - Step Through E-Bike

This electric commuter bike features Kalkhoff’s Impulse EVO RS motor with integrated 3Tron 500 Wh battery and navigation app Bluetooth compatibility.

The German-engineered Impulse Evo RS motor and display unit is backed by Kalkhoff's promise that 'even hardened e-bikers will be surprised at how the Impulse Evo RS accelerates in Ultra mode'.

  • The EVO RS motor is built from the know-how gained from manufacturing more than 300,000 Impulse drive systems over the past 5 years
  • The battery is integrated inside the frame down tube
  • The more efficient e-motor delivers enhanced performance
  • Stronger gear unit, designed for a maximum torque of 80 Nm
  • Background noise reduced by 20%
  • Additional pedalling cadence sensor integrated in the motor for even more sensitive control of the power assist function
  • Innovative multi-tooth axis for safe crank assembly
  • The lighting system is powered by the motor
  • Quicker data transmission thanks to CAN Bus communication system
  • Then there's the bar-mounted Impulse Evo Smart Compact Dispay Unit with bluetooth and USB charging socket
  • The Impulse Evo LCD Smart can be used as a SatNav by Bluetooth connection with your iPhone
  • Because the display unit is powered by the bike's 500Wh battery, you won't be concerned by the SatNav running out of juice as you might with a regular GPS cycle computer
  • Similarly, you can be pretty confident that the high capacity battery will have the capacity to power the quality bolted-on LED lights that come fitted to the bike

More good things

  • With its suspension fork and its nicely cushioned, durable, puncture resistant, Schwalbe 700x47 tyres, a Kalkhoff Endeavour Move i9 is a trekking/hybrid bike that's equally at home on smooth tarmac or unpaved towpaths
  • Quality hydraulic disc brakes - why you want them
  • Dependable mid-range Shimano Acera/Alivio 1x9 gear shifting - why you want simplified 1x shifting
