Cargo bikes are becoming increasingly popular, none moreso than the Tern GSD cargo bike. There is such a large choice of accessories we thought it worthwhile talking about the most popular of these as there are options for luggage, boxes, two children or one adult to name but a few. Below is a talk through of some of the most popular accessories and the suggested or required add-ons.<\/p>\n

Tern Captains Chair<\/h2>\n

The Captain’s Chair<\/a> can fit 2 children or 1 adult on the back of the GSD. It features a thick seatpad and backrest for passenger comfort. You can also remove the cushion for space to accommodate crates or boxes.<\/p>\n

Tern Storm Shield<\/h2>\n

They provide passengers with more comfy foot space, and riders with extra peace-of-mind when carrying kids. The Sidekick Wide Decks<\/a> are designed to support up to 35kg each<\/p>\n

A tray for the rear of the GSD that can carry eurocrates or boxes up to a maximum of 35kg.<\/p>\n

Tern GSD Transporteur Rack front<\/h2>\n

A cargo carrier for the front of the GSD that can carry crates or boxes. The Transporteur Front Rack<\/a> features 20kg of carrying space.<\/p>\n

Children’s Seats<\/h2>\n

There are a number of options for up to two children on the rear of the Tern GSD. Please call us or ask in store for which one would be best.<\/p>\n

Optional Extras\u00a0\u2013 Clubhouse + for a bit more safety for your precious cargo.<\/p>\n

Another optional extra that is not Tern specific are handlebar mirrors for bicycles<\/a> as you can keep an eye on what traffic is behind or watch your precious cargo.<\/p>\n

As you can see from above that these accessories can really make the Tern GSD a very versatile option and as always, if you would like to discuss any of the above with us, we would be happy to help. The above represents the most popular accessories but there are other options as well (dog transport being one)<\/p>\n
