It can seem daunting to get started so we have compiled this list of frequently asked questions to help you get started.<\/p>\n<p><u><strong> Contents and Quick Links: <\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#cycletowork\"> What is the Cycle to Work Scheme? <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#whofor\"> Who is it for? <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#whyuse\"> Why use the Cycle to Work scheme? <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#shopwithus\"> Why shop at Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative? <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#acceptedvouchers\"> Which Cycle to Work schemes do we accept? <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"cycletowork\">What is it?<\/h2>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>The Cycle to Work Scheme is a salary sacrifice arrangement between you and your employer that allows you to make significant savings a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edinburghbicycle.com\/bikes\"> new bicycle <\/a> and\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edinburghbicycle.com\/accessories\">cycling accessories<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edinburghbicycle.com\/clothing\">clothing<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The cost of the bike is spread over 12 or 18 months and these deductions are pre-tax so you save tax and national insurance on the value of the bike and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Using salary sacrifice you can expect to save between 30% and 40% on your new equipment depending on tax bracket and ownership option.
