Viral Cycling Videos for January 2017

Welcome to this month’s Viral Videos, where we share a handful of the videos we’ve watched over the past month! Want to share a video you’ve seen? Get in touch.

The Pinarelllo Bolide Maat 60.1 which helped Elia Viviani win gold in the omnium in 2016 despite crashing. The bike only cost a cool £12,000 or so.

Not a cycling video, strictly speaking, but it does have some excellent cycling in it, as well as surfing, snowboarding, and people throwing themselves off bridges.

“Whilst pedalling today my mate Paul went to put his bike over a fence. Half way though he realised that it was electric! So he dropped it on the fence. This is a video of him and my mate Al trying to get it off! Please excuse the swearing and oh yes by the way the clicking sound is the electric pulsing!!”

Join Kurt Sorge in Indonesia as he shreds volcanoes as Mount Bromo erupts in the distance.

Back in my day the most exciting thing you could get as a kid was LA Gear shoes, which had a single flashing red light in the sole. Kids these days are spoiled.

Who doesn’t enjoying watching things break other things? This is the OneUp Chain Guard being dropped onto a variety of hard and soft things, including a watermelon, a coconut, and a rock.

A beautiful video, worth a watch!

A novel idea, and one we hadn’t considered… Let us know if it works.
