When my friends suggested I might want to join them on the 3 Pistes Sportive – a ride that is billed, ‘the UK’s highest sportive’ – I thought, why not?
This year we were over the moon to become the Great Manchester Cycle’s official mechanic – a big job for a small company! We pulled in all our mechanics from Leeds and Sheffield, and, of course, Manchester – and a posse of staff came down from Edinburgh to do the ride too.
