Revolution Bikes – What’s new for 2014?
Last year, we celebrated the 10th birthday of the launch of our exclusive Revolution range.
Although Revolution bikes and equipment have earned a cluster of excellent reviews over the past decade, we never get complacent.
Anniversaries being a time of reflection, once the Revolution 10th birthday cake candles were blown out, we began planning how to make the next decade even better.
We decided the time was ripe for a Revolution makeover, starting with the logo. Our new lower case revolution logo (pictured on the frame tube above) reflects the low-key, smart design philosophy that informs Revolution bicycles and cycling equipment.
This new logo isn’t shouty. It just works, thus reflecting the experience we want you to enjoy when you ride a Revolution bike, wear a Revolution jersey, use a Revolution workstand…
For all its smart new livery we promise that our 2014 range will continue to conform to our Revolution mission statement: making quality bicycles, clothing and accessories more affordable.
A couple of highlights from the new range
Revolution Continental £499
The Continental has been our best selling 1st road bike since 1999. For 2014, the Revolution Continental boasts bang up-to-the-minute internal gear cable routing and Shimano Claris 2×8 gear shifting with true STI Dual Control brake/gear levers.
Revolution Cross Disc £525
Don’t get cross with rim brakes. Get discs!
The Revolution Cross comes with better-performing lower-maintenance disc brakes for the price of similar spec’d cyclocross bikes with rim brakes.
It’s not all about the bikes
(can we still say that in the post Lance era? What the heck. Course we can.)
Wherever possible, we are continuing to reduce packaging to the bare minimum required to ensure you receive the goods in perfect condition. We have also strived to make the packaging cleaner and to describe the goods therein more clearly.
Revolution Team kit
Our Revolution Team Jersey and Team Bibshorts are also in the process of being redesigned.
