Any order, any UK address, till 24 December 2014.
Sometimes free delivery means slooow delivery. I accidentally cracked my fish tank a few weeks back, and thought I’d save myself £15 by ticking the free delivery option when I bought a new one. Unfortunately, it then took a week and a half to arrive, which totally stressed me out – every day, I dreaded getting back from the Bike Co-op to find out the crack had given way, leaving me with a puddle of dead fish. Never again.
At Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op, we always provide free delivery for bikes to mainland UK. However, this Christmas, we’re also trying out free delivery to the Islands and Northern Ireland, as well as free First Class recorded delivery for accessories and clothing – no matter where you live or how much you spend.
Depending on where you live, we know you understand delivery may not be the quickest, but we will always let you know what’s happening.
However, if you just can’t wait for your bike/shirt/Early Rider, we still provide paid-for guaranteed Next Day, Weekday Morning or Saturday Delivery – see here for delivery details.
Depending on the size of purchase you have made, we will use Royal Mail, DPD or TNT.
- We use Royal Mail First Class Recorded for small items under 2kg, and we will email you a tracking number when we send it out.
- For larger items we use DPD, and will also send you an email and tracking link. DPD will text you on the morning of that day with a delivery window of one hour, and if that’s not convenient you can text them back to make alternate arrangements.
- Finally, we send bikes out by TNT. We will email you with a delivery day, and if this isn’t suitable you can get in touch with us to and rearrange. On the day of delivery, call us by 2pm if you haven’t received your bike, and we will track it down.
