HR Officer Vacancy | Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative
Part time, 22.5 hours per week
Salary range 20.5k-24.5k per annum DOE
Based at our Head Office just outside Dalmeny, you’ll report directly to the Managing Director.
This is an HR generalist role and you’ll be expected to provide first-class HR support and advice to the business and its people. This will include ownership of all recruitment processes, administering of performance review systems, absence management, discipline/grievance as well as the basics such as issuing of employment contracts. You’ll also be expected to manage our in-house payroll system.
You’ll be a very strong communicator and organiser. You’ll also have excellent administration skills, and an eye for detail. Effective time-management is essential and you will be confident at juggling priorities on a daily basis. We’ll also expect you to have some knowledge of disciplinary procedures and employment law. Most of all, you’ll definitely be a people person.
A CIPD qualification is not essential but would give you a distinct advantage.
