Edinburgh has prided itself in being described as The Festival City since the launch of our International and Film Festivals in the 1940s, followed in subsequent decades by The Fringe, The Book Festival, the Science Festival and so on, till we got to 2013 and the launch of a nine-day Edinburgh Festival of Cycling (EdFoc).
With its inclusive programme, the inaugural Edinburgh Festival of Cycling offered something for cyclists of every niche and all ages, whether you were a complete bike nut or just mildly curious.
EdFoc was such a success, its bold, ambitious organisers are putting on an Edinburgh Festival of Cycling this year, which will run from 12 to 22 June.
EdFoc 2014 promises an even more diverse line up of bike rides, films, workshops, talks, try-outs, classes and so on, which you can read about here.
Alternatively, you can pick up one of EdFoc’s nice, wee, back-pocket-sized programmes at our Bruntsfield or Canonmills Edinburgh shops.
