Product Description

Giant were the pioneers of the compact frame, now adopted by many other forward-looking road bike manufacturers such as Specialized and Revolution.

Everything else being equal, shorter tubes make the compact frame lighter. Shorter tubes flex less for more efficient power transfer. Compact frames fit more riders. The lower top tube gives shorter riders more stepover clearance. The sloping top tube and the long seatpin make smaller frames comfy for taller riders. This flexibility of sizing means that Giant make do with only 3 frame sizes to cover 98% of the adult population. The resulting economies of scale help make them among the best value road bikes available.

  • AluxX 6061 aluminium aero-tubed frame with curved stays.
  • Composite fork - light and shock absorbing.
  • Campagnolo New Mirage groupset with 27-speed triple drivetrain - made to last.
  • Hutchinson Reflex 700x23 tyres on Mavic CXP22 rims on Campagnolo Mirage hubs - fast wheels you can rely on.
