Product Description

Looking for a practical everyday bike but mountain bikes are not you? Like the looks of a traditional-styled bicycle but appreciate that modern parts make a bike safer and easier to ride? You're looking at the Edinburgh Connection 100. This features Gripshift-operated 21-spd Shimano indexed gears to help you up the hills, and alloy V-brakes to help you control your speed when you go back down them. The Connection's 700c alloy touring wheels are shod with 38mm-wide tyres. These treads are much smoother-rolling on the road than 65mm-wide MTB knobblies, while they offer far more trail and pothole-cushioning than 20mm-wide racing bike tyres. Riser handlebars, which encourage an upright riding position, help ensure comfort as does the gel saddle on the micro-adjust alloy seatpin. Finally, to underline its practicality as a town bike, it comes fitted with full length mudguards and a pannier rack.
