This bike has the same lightweight women's-specific aluminium frame as the Cadence 2, then it's made even more trailworthy.
Upgrades from Edinburgh Cadence 2
- HT means hard tail - i.e. it's a bike with a suspension fork and a rigid (no-suspension) frame. You'll appreciate front suspension (over the Cadence 2's rigid chromoly fork) whenever road surfaces, never mind the trails, are less than even.
- The fatter grippier WTB (Wilderness Trails Bike) tyres and rear cassette hub make for tougher more off-roadable wheels.
- 24-speed - a wider range than the Cadence 2's 21-speed - offers a, sometimes welcome, turn of speed.
