    DMR V12 Pedals

With their classic concave contours, DMR pedals are legendary in these parts. The V12 is the deluxe sealed-bearing version. You could call them the perfect sole-mates.

    • Plain bearings on the inside (closest to the crank) sealed cartridge bearings on the outside: this design means that the DMR V12 pedal runs very smooth and it is better balanced to take very high loads.
    • Oversized fully chromed Cro-mo axle.
    • Tough 1-piece alloy body.
    • Better sealing combined with fully chromed axle means that the pedals will run a lot smoother for a lot longer.
    • Replaceable screw-in pins (20 per pedal).
    • 9/16” axle - fits any 3-piece crank.
    • 536g.

DMR V12 Flat Pedals ReviewReview by Ishuman

I spent a great deal of time investigating the various options when deciding to upgrade the standard issue pedals that came with the Specialized Hardrock disk. Due to the fact that I cycle less than 50 miles a week, and the fact that I have always been a bit weary of going with the clipless option I was looking for a solid platform pedal. The two names that kept on reappearing were Wellgo and DMR and whilst I liked the look if the various models of Wellgo, the DMR V12's seemed to be the preferred and more popular choice receiving constantly positive reviews. Goodness, what a difference these pedals make, the grip is incredible and the pedal experience just feels so much more smoother. If you are on a budget they have a less expensive V8 model but if you are wanting to splash out you could go for the Magnesium edition. Only down side is that if you are riding a bit of off road then shin pads are essential, the tiny studs are far from forgiving. Lastly soft souled shoes are also going to take a hammering, still, 9/10. (Posted on 11/04/2013)
