The Cannondale Jekyll introduced us to the benefits of adjustable-geometry full suspension. The Prophet sets new standards.
First the Prophets geometry is shallower (67.5-69˚ head angle compared with the Jekylls 69.2 to 71.1) for improved downhill stability.
Then the travel is perfectly balanced, 140mm front and rear, via the Manitou Swinger 3-Way air shock and the Cannondale HeadShok Lefty Max fork, both with SPV Stable Platform Valve for progressive damping control.
Welded box-section hollow-core pivot for lightweight flex resistance.
Hutchinson Bulldog Light UST 26 x 2.3 front, 2.1 rear, tubeless tyres.
There is never a lack of balance in its
reactions, not even when switching geometry.
When riding this all makes the Prophet a bike
that climbs easily but most of all helps to
nimbly take off, turn fast and consistently
absorb the landing in jumps.
