Really liked the idea - simple way of increasing your visibility both front and rear when commuting at "hi-level" and lightweight. Let down by quality of execution: very quickly became unreliable, as coin batteries seemed to struggle and on/off/mode switching a bit of a lottery. Beefed up it could be a winner.

This light would be great but the demands from the 4 LEDs are too much for coin cells. While it works great at room temperature, as soon as it is exposed to a little cold weather (below about 10C) it begins to rapidly dim. Near 0C the front will not light on steady and is very dim on flash. In extreme cold as we have in Canada it is almost useless for 5 months of the year (the darkest 5 months). Even tried to run at over voltage by using 2x CR2016 + 1 CR2032 to push 9V instead of the normal 6V. Still dims out too much at low temperature.

The idea is good but it is let down by the quality of the electrics. I was very happy with this for the first couple of outings but after a while it became harder and harder to switch modes or to switch off at all. If they can improve that I might try another as it is light, easy to fix and a helpful visibility add-on..

Recently on my regular commute I saw a bright flashing light far ahead bobbing along just above the roof level of the traffic. When I caught up to it, I found it was one of these fixed to the cyclists helmet. So I bought one. I am a very happy shopper Ð the light is very compact yet extremely bright. The fixing, whilst a bit fiddly to get right, is secure and doesnÕt wobble, nor does it rub on my head when wearing the helmet. It's light, feels well made and the button has a solid click to it so you can switch it on and off with confidence. It has a steady, flashing and mixed mode, and while it isn't enough to light your way home on its own it is a very useful addition to your lighting set up, and it gives me confidence knowing I can be seen from a much greater distance than before. Recommended.
