    Specialized Tahoe Women's Shoe

    Mountain biking / hiking shoes

The Specialized BG Tahoe D4W is a mountain biking / hiking shoe built on a women's last so it's lower profile at the front and has a narrower heel than the guy's equivalent.

    • With its MTB tyre-derived grippy rubber sole, the Tahoe is a light hiking-styled shoe made especially fit for riding, thanks to the cycle-specific BG (Body Geometry) orthotic footbed.
    • The Specialized Tahoe Shoe's TrailTraction plate is stiff for cycling, but flexible in front of the cleat for comfort when walking.
    • Compatible with any SPD / Time Atac-style pedal.
    • Suede leather upper with breathable mesh panels.
    • Lace keeper helps keep lace knot safely out of the chainrings.
    • 940g (size 41).

    Specialized BG (Body Geometry) Shoes

Developed with Dr Andy Pruitt, renowned U.S. author, sports scientist and national coach, Body Geometry is a cycle-specific insole that optimises the foot's position and helps eliminate pressure on both the knee and the foot bones when you pedal. Specialized BG shoes therefore improve both comfort and pedalling performance.

Specialized Shoes incorporate 3 BG elements in the footbed and outsole: the Metatarsal Button and the Longitudinal Arch Support reduce hotspots and support the foot. The Varus Wedge angles the foot slightly for improved ergonomics and knee/foot alignment.
