    A light Storm.

With its 120 tpi casing, the Specialized Storm S-Works is lighter than the standard Storm Control.

On the off chance you get caught in the rain.... With its soft rubber compound, Specialized Storm Control 2 Bliss Tyres will help you keep rolling over wet roots, rock (and presumably, reggae).

    • Well-spaced self-cleaning knobs offer traction on sections that most riders wouldn't even consider hiking over.
    • The Specialized Specialized Storm S-Works 2Bliss Tyre can be used with a tube.
Alternatively, Specialized recommend using it tubeless with their AirLock Sealant.
    • 2Bliss - Specialized's take on tubeless tyres has taken that technology to new heights.
    • The Specialized Storm S-Works 2Bliss Tyre can be run as low as 35psi to maximise traction - thanks to the strategically placed butyl rubber around the bead.
    • The Aramid bead makes the Specialized Storm S-Works 2Bliss lighter weight, foldable and easier to fit and remove.
    • Supple 120 tpi casing.
    • Grippy 60a tread.
    • 35-65 psi.
    • 555g.

'With soft rubber compounds that stick to wet roots and rocks and well-spaced knobs that allow the tire to clean well, this mud-munching tire is made for riders who won't shy away from an environmental challenge--delivering traction in sections that most riders won't consider hiking over!'

I got these a couple of years ago for winter use but have liked them so much I've just left them on (front and rear) ever since. The rubber is pretty soft so they wear fairly quickly (I've replaced a couple over this period) but I wouldn't change this as it's one of the reasons they're so grippy. These S-Works versions are a bit lighter than the standard Storm Controls. The sidewalls are therefore pretty thin but I'm yet to tear one and that's after 2 years riding them tubeless too. After years of faffing around trying different tyres I find I don't really think about it any more now that I have these, and for £30 they're a bargain.
