Armadillo
Armadillo means 'bead-to-bead' puncture protection, not just sub-tread puncture resistance. As a heavy 15 stone rider, I (Ged) used to expect a few punctures every year. Then I fitted Armadillo tyres and have since enjoyed 3 puncture-free years. In fact Armadillo's are so reliable, I now think of the spare tube as something I carry to give away to riders that still rely on lesser tyres.
