    Specialized's aim with the Globe Work was to create a simple, durable and affordable commuting bike. We believe they have achieved their aim, in spades. The Globe Work works. It looks great. It rides just fine.

    • Rather than using an MTB frame, Specialized have built the Globe Work on a tough but lightweight Globe A1 Premium Aluminium step-through trekking frame whose longer head tube delivers a more upright riding position.
    • The frame has mudguard and rack eyelets. If you need anything like that fitted to the Specialized Globe Work, just ask.
    • The Specialized Globe Work is logo-free apart from the classy head badge.
    • Double-wall alloy wheel rims for extra strength.
    • Proven reliable Shimano Altus EZ-Fire 3x7-speed shifters and gears.

    A. While Specialized do not supply weights for their bikes we have weighed a medium Globe Work Step Through which is 13.34kg/ 29.32lb. This is the weight as the bike is sold with pedals, reflectors and bell fitted. Please note that this weight is for guidance only as weights do vary from build to build and between frame sizes.
