Specialized are revered for many reasons: fabulous frames in steel, aluminium and metal matrix; superb tyres; great value helmets; and really efficient shoes. The humble water bottle is another area were Specialized excel and are frequently rated, 'the industry standard'. Made in food grade plastic, the Specialized water bottle is tasteless - in the best sense of the word - ie it won't soak up flavours and odours. Although not as durable as an aluminium bottle, perhaps, the nylon bottle has the advantage that it will fit into a metal cage without rattling or scratching. The oversized screw top won't leak and the big mouth makes it easy to fill with Maxim and ice cubes. The soft poppet is easy on the teeth. Available in 2 sizes: 21oz and 24oz.
