The Specialized BG Trivent Shoe's heel loop and ultra-wide main strap facilitate faster triathlon transitions.

• The FACT (Functionally Advanced Composite Technology) carbon/fibreglass soles and BG insoles are vented to keep your feet cool and comfortable in preparation for your run.
• Developed for and with input from 3-times Ironman World Champion Peter Reid.
• The chromed fibres of the FACT carbon outsole work as a heat shield, reflecting road heat to help keep your feet cool in the heat of competition (hot feet saps your energy).
• Replaceable heel tread with internally recessed bolts.

Specialized BG (Body Geometry) Shoes

Developed with Dr Andy Pruitt, renowned U.S. author, sports scientist and national coach, BG is a cycle-specific insole that optimises the foot's position and helps eliminate pressure on both the knee and the foot bones when you pedal. Specialized BG shoes therefore improve both comfort and pedalling performance.

Specialized Shoes incorporate 3 BG elements in the footbed and outsole: the Metatarsal Button and the Longitudinal Arch Support reduce hotspots and support the foot. The Varus Wedge angles the foot slightly for improved ergonomics and knee/foot alignment.
