With its noticeably stiffer soles and uppers, the BG Sport is a more dedicated riding shoe, built for 90% cycling / 10% walking (compared with more leisure oriented 50/50 cycling / walking shoes). Specialized BG Sport MTB Shoes retain a little flex under the toes (unlike pure road shoes) for the odd hiking section.
