    'With elements of both a road bike and mountain bike, the Ariel is for the female rider looking to zip through the weekday commute and head out for weekend adventure. The Ariel Disc Step-Through features an A1 Premium Aluminium frame with women's recreational geometry, Tektro Novela disc brakes, and a 75mm-travel SR Suntour fork for a plush ride.'

    Upgrades over regular Specialized Ariel

    • Tektro Novela mechanical disc brakes for improved all-weather performance.
    • Disc brake pads are much harder than standard brake blocks so they last much longer.
    • Tektro disc brakes therefore tend to require less maintenance than Tektro V-brakes.

    • Smooth-welded Specialized A1 Premium Aluminium step-through frame for lightweight confidence on any terrain.
    • The frame and fork have mudguard and rack eyelets. If you need anything like that fitted to the Specialized Globe Work, just ask when you order the bike.

    • Proven reliable Shimano Altus 3x8 EZ-Fire gearing.
