Q. Just fitted a new chain and the gears are slipping when I change gear and ride. I think I need a new cassette. The bike is an 8 speed Cuillin Revolution Sport - will the Shimano HG50 8 Speed Freehub Cluster be suitable? And if so what ratio? Thanks
A. When fitting a new chain it is normally the case that a new cassette is required as both parts wear in together. With the HG50 freehub cluster we don't have a suitable ratio in stock for your Cuillin. For your Cuillin you would require an 11-32t cassette. We have in stock a suitable Shimano HG51 11-32t cassette which you can see here.
