- For instance, the hardened nickel-plated forged alloy chain cage has all the rigidity you need in a front mech (every sub-Dura-Ace front mech has a heavier steel chain cage).
- The Derailleur's redesigned wide pivot link and its reduced spring tension combine to create a lighter action and further develops Shimano's reputation for delivering effort-free shifting.
