Shimano's mid-range Deore LX components have evolved into 2 distinct groupsets: LX for trekking/hybrid touring and SLX for mountain biking.
- With its discreet clamp and its top swing action, the SLX FC-M660 is designed to fit seat tubes, 'busy' with suspension linkages.
- The tail of the chromed steel chain guide cage is shaped to offer maximum rear tyre clearance.
- The derailleur's stop screws are angled to facilitate easy access with your screwdriver.
- Dual Pull - the Shimano FC-M660 can be operated whether the front gear cable is top-routed (via the top tube) or bottom routed (via the bottom bracket).
- Multi clamp: fits all 3 'standard' seat tube diameters: 28.6, 31.8 or 34.9mm.
- Use with 'Super Narrow 9-speed' chain or 10-speed HG-X MTB chains only
