Q. I had a pair of Shimano Altus Cantilever Brakes from you and fitted them without needing the two link wires. However I've just noticed that the legs of one link wire are approx 5mm longer than the second link wire. For future ref can you please advise which link wire fits the front brake, the long wire or the short one?
A. We can confirm that the longer wire is designed for the front brake. The fork can often be wider than the frame which is why the front wire is supplied as the longer of the two.
