Science in Sport Rego Drink Powder
Science In Sport Rego
Specially formulated to hasten post-exercise recovery
Science In Sport Rego is a drinks powder specially formulated to hasten post-exercise recovery.
Rego is an easily digestible mixture of protein, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins. Rego tastes like milk shake, except you mix it with water, so it can safely be drunk if you're lactose intolerant.
The latest research suggests you should replenish your protein and carbohydrate levels within 20 minutes of completing exercise. Being such an easy-to-prepare (simply mix the powder with water in your bottle and give it a shake) and easy-to-swallow nutritional source makes Rego a winner.
Rego was actually inspired by 1990's Olympic Gold medallist and hour record holder Chris Boardman who experimented with mixing Science In Sport PSP22 with protein powder.
- Flavours: Strawberry, Chocolate, Banana or Vanilla.
- 100g of Rego makes a 1 litre shake.
Science in Sport Overview
SIS only make sports food, and they make it in house, so they can guarantee that all their powders are drug free. That's significant. The majority of sports drinks are made by drug companies, so there's always the risk of a pinch of banned substance making its way into your seemingly-innocuous isotonic drink. As high-profile cases have shown, the slightest trace of illegal stimulant might lead to bans, persecution and prosecution, even in amateur sport.
