Revolution Vision Switch LED Handlebar / Head Light

The brand new Revolution Vision Switch morphs from a handlebar-mounted bike light to a head torch in seconds. That’s a brilliant idea because, by law, you must ride at night with bike-mounted lights. But sometimes, a head torch is handier. For instance, as a secondary light that lets you see what a bar-mounted light doesn’t reveal, or when you need hands-free light to master a midnight mechanical.

As befits a head torch, the Vision Switch is super light - 40g inc batteries. Add 28g for the headstrap or 16g for the handlebar mount: this is still our lightest weight head torch ever. The Vision Switch’s 3 super-bright white LEDs don’t just light up the path ahead. The 360 degree see-through ring on the main lamp body means you’ll get seen from the sides too. Run time is 20 hours on full beam + 80 hours backup from 2 x CR2032 batteries (the lamp comes supplied with 4 x CR2032s).

‘Backup’ is another reason to love LEDs. Rather than shutting down at the end of its full-beam run time, the Vision Switch remains illuminated, albeit at a lesser intensity, for another 80 hours. This means you should never be left completely in the dark, even if you are slow to get round to replacing batteries.
