Revolution Vision Solar Hybrid Front Light

This is our first solar-powered LED front light. It’s NiMH battery can be recharged by leaving the lamp outside in the daylight, thanks to the solar panels on the lamp’s 'roof'. We call it a hybrid light because it can also be powered by 3 conventional alkaline (or rechargeable) AAA batteries, which kick in when the rechargeable battery is drained.

The lamps light output is as good as any similarly priced battery-powered lamp.
Intelligent waste-free lens/reflector design transmits 96% of the LED's output.
Simply leave the lamp outside, say on a window ledge, to recharge its integrated NiMH battery.
Blue side lights help ensure you’ll get seen from all angles.
Power indicator alerts you when this lamps requires recharging.
Lightweight - only 98g inc. batteries.
Run times in Hybrid Mode (NiMH and alkaline batteries): up to 42 hours constant beam / 60 hours flashing.

Ricky Sheffield	Great light, really bright, I ride on city lit road at night and it bright enough, I would recommend this light it clips on with confidence I probably would not use it on country unlit roads, but a fantastic bright light for night city riding

Q. What does the red power light mean? Fully charged, time to replace the batteries or something else?

A. The power indicator displays a red light when the batteries have low power. At this point we would recommend changing the alkaline batteries or leaving the light outside to recharge the internal solar powered NiMH battery. The light will still function when the low power indicator is displayed though for how long will depend on the function used and also any power input from the solar powered battery.

Q. Hi does this light have a strap on bracket or a bracket that needs to be fixed on with tools. Is this light waterproof?

A. The Revolution Vision Solar bike light uses a bracket that does not require any tools to fit. It clamps around oversize or standard bars (with the included rubber shim) and is designed to be fitted by hand. The light is weatherproof rather than fully waterproof. It should withstand most weather conditions though, is not designed for use in heavy, persistent rain.
