Once you've used this cyclists' socket set, you might, like many Bike Co-op mechanics, reserve your traditional spanners and Allen keys for emergency back up.

• The socket spanner's one way ratchet action (where the handle can be reversed back without loosening or tightening the nut or bolt) makes it much faster to use.
• The fact that there is no need to remove the spanner head every turn also speeds up every job.
• The supplied 8, 9, 10, 13 and 15mm ring sockets are far less likely to round a bolt head than a traditional open spanner.
• Also supplied with 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8mm Allen key bits.
• Also supplied with Phillips and flat-head screwdriver bits.
• Also supplied with T-25 Torx wrench.
• The bits, sockets and driver lever are all steel.
• The lever is quite short (95mm / 4 inches) as sometimes required for bike wrenching in a confined space.
• Supplied in a neat aluminium case: approximately 13cm across x 5cm deep x 4cm high / 5 x 2 x 1.5 inches.
• The case's hard plastic insert is slotted for neat storage of all the bits and pieces.
