Revolution Stow Lite S2 10 litre Rucsac
S2 is so named because it is the second generation of our Stow range of rucsacs, optimised for cycling and built to Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op specifications by expert German bagmen, Vaude.
The Revolution Stow Lite S2 is our smallest rucsac. It's the perfect pack for short rides when you want to carry essentials but you don't want to be weighed down by an unwieldy pack.
- The tough lightweight ripstop 600D fabric keeps the weight of this pack down to a very reasonable 720g.
- The cushioned Aeroflex suspension frame enables airflow between sac and back and keeps most of the bag’s back off yours.
- The Aeroflex frame is sculpted to avoid contact between the bag and the back of your cycling helmet.
- The Flash harness system makes it easy to adjust the length of the shoulder straps to your body size. This is especially useful if you are below or above average height.
- The Flash system also allows you to position the bag perfectly depending on whether you like to carry your pack high or low on your back.
- Hydration pack compatible. You simply slip the reservoir into the rucsac's internal CamelBak compartment, feed the tube (even if it has an L-bend bite valve) through the CamelBak port at the top of the bag, then guide the tube via the Velcro and Elastic loops on either shoulder strap to position the bite valve so it's perfectly primed to deliver a drink.
- Chest and cushioned waist straps augment the comfortable shoulder straps.
- Large zipped external pocket keeps wallet and keys accessible and safe.
- 'Doglead clip' just inside the top of the bag offers safe convenient storage for a key you have to take along with you, say, for your bike lock or car. just inside the top of the bag offers safe convenient storage for a key you have to take along with you, say, for your bike lock or car.
- 2 large, mesh side pockets are perfect places to store equipment you might want to to access mid ride such as bottles, mitts and (sun)specs. These pockets are elasticated at the top to help prevent anything jumping out of them - say on bumpy downhills.
- Safety light loop enables you to clip on a rear LED light.
- Zip-away helmet holder elastic straps allow you to lash your helmet to the bag’s exterior. This is dead handy for carrying the helmet off the bike.
- Highly reflective icons and stripes.
- Eyecatching orange rain cover keeps bag clean and dry: stows away in its own zipped pocket when not required.
- Quality YKK zips employed throughout.
- Approximate Volume: 10L.
- 42cm high x 19cm average width x 8cm average depth.
- Read the Review of the previous model which was technically almost identical.

You want to commute to work on your bike and take the occasional weekend ride? You need to carry a clean shirt, a lunchbox and a waterproof jacket? Hate the idea of a pannier flapping about on your bike? I have found the answer: the Revolution Stow Lite rucsac, the bag that does just enough. It's a rare day when I wish my Stow Lite was bigger; despite its compact size it swallows 10+ litres of everything I need for work and play. And it's cleverly thought out, boasting those little touches that cyclists appreciate. Its mesh frame lifts the bag off your body, minimising the sweaty-back syndrome, which is the reason, many riders won't consider a backpack. It will securely hold a drinks bladder and feed the bite-tube to exactly the right place for easy refreshment. There's a pair of mesh side pockets, just the size for my sunnies and jelly babies. The straps are comfy, the zips are chunky and strong and I love the metal hook inside the main compartment that keeps my keys handy. A fluorescent rain cover is stashed in its own sleeve and an elasticated helmet holder unfolds if you go walkabout. What would I change about my Stow Lite? Apart from adding more reflectives to the rain cover nothing really. I can't even complain about the price as it's about half that of several leading competitors. And in these strained times, that's a genuine bargain. |
