Revolution Stow Expert S2 25 + 5 litre Rucsac
The Stow Expert S2 is our biggest rucsac so we especially recommended it for self-sufficient awaydays on the bike.
- Tough lightweight 600D rip stop fabric.
- The cushioned Aeroflex suspension frame enables airflow between sac and back and keeps most of the bag’s back off yours.
- The Aeroflex frame is sculpted to avoid contact between the bag and the back of your cycling helmet.
- The Flash harness system makes it easy to adjust the length of the shoulder straps to your body size. This is especially useful if you are below or above average height.
- The Flash system also allows you to position the bag perfectly depending on whether you like to carry your pack high or low on your back.
- Hydration pack compatible. You simply slip the reservoir into the rucsac's internal CamelBak compartment, feed the tube (even if it has an L-bend bite valve) through the CamelBak port at the top of the bag, then guide the tube via the Velcro and Elastic loops on either shoulder strap to position the bite valve so it's perfectly primed to deliver a drink.
- Waist and padded chest straps augment the comfortable shoulder straps.
- The right hand waist strap has a zipped key/coin pocket you can access on the move.
- The main compartment has a zipped divider so you can, for instance, keep wet and dry clothing separate.
- 3 x large zipped external pockets + external zipped map pocket for OS maps.
- A pair of mesh pockets inside the lower front pocket offer extra opportunities for organising your stuff.
- Key clip just inside the top of the bag offers safe convenient storage for a key you have to take along with you, say, for your bike lock or car.
- 2 large, mesh side pockets are perfect places to store equipment you might want to to access mid ride such as bottles, mitts and (sun)specs. These pockets are elasticated at the top to help prevent anything jumping out of them - say on bumpy downhills.
- Safety light loop enables you to clip on a rear LED light.
- Zip-away helmet holder elastic straps allow you to lash your helmet to the bag’s exterior. This is dead handy for carrying the helmet off the bike.
- Side compression straps help stabilise the load.
- Highly reflective icons and stripes.
- Orange rain cover keeps bag clean and dry: stows away in its own zipped pocket when not required.
- Quality YKK zips employed throughout.
- S2 is so named because it is the second generation of our Stow range of rucsacs, optimised for cycling and built to Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op specifications by expert German bagmen, Vaude.
- Approximate Size: 25L (expands to 30L at the pull of a zip).
- 50cm H x 27cm average width x 17cm D.
- 1,100g.
- Read the Review of the previous model which was technically very similar.

This is a fantastic rucsac. Does everything I want it to do. Had been searching for ages to find one that was just right and had hankered after one I bought my husband 7 years ago. This one is just perfect for me. Very comfortable with the adjustable mechanism, waist supports really good. Particularly like the zipped bit inside where you can either increase the size of the space or have two separate bits (useful for wet/manky stuff). I use it mainly as an everyday sac with two kids in tow but very comfy on the bike too. |
