Q. Hi, I like the idea of this type of bike carrier (the 6 straps is a great idea). My concern is my car, a Mondeo where the side of the hatchback is glass and would be concerned about attaching it to the glass part. Do you know of any issues or attachments I can use?
A. For attaching a rack with metal hooks like the Revolution Shuttle to a glass surface we would recommend using the (two) supplied glass hatch adaptors. These replace the metal hooks and spread the load over a plastic or glass hatch, they are also available to purchase separately if you require more than 2 or need to fit them retrospectively.
Q. Do you sell replacement rubber straps?
A. Yes we do, these are called Avenir Bike Hold Downs and can be purchased online here or by calling us on 0845 257 0808.
Q. Hi I have a Mazda 3 saloon (54 reg). The description says it fits most cars. Would you know if this is compatible with my car?
A. We do not have a list of car models that the Revolution Shuttle will fit, however are confident that it will fit a high percentage of cars with the exception of cars with spoilers. Should you order the shuttle and find it does not fit we have an open returns policy.
