Revolution Cantilever Brake Pads

A pair of replacement brake pads for cantilever brakes.

  • Profiled for increased braking efficiency.
  • The pads are shaped to follow the arc of the rim.
  • The pads are grooved to accelerate water and heat dispersal.
  • Not cartridge pad style - each cantilever pad is a simple, reliable one-piece brake block with stud and pad moulded together.
  • Approx pad size where it hits rim: 70 x 9mm.
  • 28mm long x 7mm diameter alloy/steel unthreaded post.
  • Might also fit (the few) V-brakes that use pads with unthreaded posts.
  • 58g per pair.
  • Manufactured in the UK for Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op by renowned brake manufacturer, Fibrax.

Ask a question
Q. Will these be ok for the specialized tri-cross?
A. Most recent Tricross models with Cantilever brakes require a pad with a threaded post so the Revolution Cantilever pads would not be suitable. We would recommend instead the Revolution V-Brake pads which you can see here. You can check which pads are required for you Tricross by removing the brake pads. If the pads do have a threaded post then you will require V-Brake pads.
