Revolution Air Mini Track Pump
Foldaway foot stirrup; stowaway hose; 90-degree foldable T-handle; in-line 0-140psi gauge; Presta/Schraeder-reversible thumblock head: this ingenious inflator combines mini pump portability with track pump ease of use.
When you want to use the pump, unclip the hose and attach it to the valve with the thumblock head. Then turn the handle 90 degrees and flip down the foot stirrup. Now you can inflate your tyre without the bother of holding the pump head in place on the valve.
Then for transit, flip the foot stirrup and handle in line with the pump and clip down the hose, and you're away.

I used this mini track pump following 4 punctures in mountain bike tyres the other day. Forgot to take it with me on my other bike the next day. My other mini pump was hopeless in comparison. So, just bought another of these pumps. 60 easy strokes of the pump had a Brompton tyre up to 80 psi. 100 strokes and much sweat on an alternative pump produced 35 psi! OK, it weighs 250g rather than the 90g of the alternative, but I can assure you that any time you lose from the extra weight will be more than recovered next time you have a puncture. |
