    Revolution Adventure Expedition Rack

Adjustable length means the Revolution Adventure Expedition Rack fits more bikes than the majority of rear pannier carriers.

    • A 9cm long threaded 'leg extender' allows you to adjust the effective length of the rack's mid struts anywhere from 34 to 39cm.
    • This allows plenty clearance for a fat 700c tyre and mudguard.
    • Alternatively, this adjustability allows you to position the rack low where required - say on a small frame when you want the rack to just clear the rear wheel and no more.
    • Strong 10mm diameter aluminium tubing.
    • Steel slider clips connect the rack to the bicycle's seat stays.
    • These slider clips can be angled and bent up or down till the rack is level.
    • A pair of P-clips come supplied lest your frame's seat stays lack eyelets.
    • Integral back plate enables you to bolt on a rear light or reflector.
    • 560g.

Great value with plate for a back light. Only downside is fittings rust easily. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. I've carried 60kg passenger, slowly, so it's strong.

Lots of adjustability especially height. Was able to raise height to clear MTB rear mudguard with room to spare. Not too chunky looking and solid build. Fantastic value. My Altura messenger pannier bag fits perfectly.
    Ask a question
    Q. Hi I have a really small framed ladies Specialised bike and am struggling to find a rack, it is the Sirrus and has standard size tyres. Will this do the job? Thanks
    A. The rack should fit but because of the dimensions of your bike, the rack may sit in a very high position relative to the bike.
    Q. Does this rack fit a ladies revolution pathfinder? Are the supplied stays long enough?
    A. It certainly will fit the pathfinder. However, occasionally with smaller frames you will require longer stays to ensure that the rack is level, this necessity obviously varies from frame size to frame size so I can’t say with certainty but suspect it will be the case with your pathfinder
    Q. Would this be recommended for a giant defy 3 ?
    A. You would be able to fit this to a Defy but you would need to fit a special seat clamp to allow the rack stays to be bolted on as there are no mounting holes at the top of the frame.
    Q. Will this rack fit a Trek lexa?
    A. The Revolution Adventure Pannier Rack Expedition will fit the 700c Trek Lexa
    Q. Would this rack fit on a 24" wheeled bike?
    A. This rack is designed for bikes with with 700cc size wheels, so it would sit too high on a 24" wheeled bike. We don't actually sell a rack specific for 24" but we do for 26" wheeled bikes. Different designs of rack are better fits on small frames than others, so, I would recommend going to your local bike shop with the bike, and try out their 26 inch racks to see if they would be a viable option. This might save time getting one delivered that may not be compatible with the bike.
    Q. Is this rack suitable for a bike with disc brakes?
    A. Thanks for your question. Unfortunately this rack is not compatible with disc brakes. The rack design has to be a bit wider to accommodate the disc callipers. We have some disc specific racks on our website here.
    Q. I'm looking for a rack to fit my wife's Charge Grater 3 Mixte. Would this fit? The frame eyelets are very low, and a long way from the top of the rack due to the frame dynamics.
    A. The Revolution Expedition rack should be fine for your wife's Grater. With the size of the frame however the standard stays will likely be too short. We would normally join to sets of stays to fit a rack when this is the case. This may not be something you want to do at home as we have to cut one set of stays to use the flat section as an extension. If you order the rack and give us a call we would be happy to include a second set of stays if it helps.
    Q. Hi I have a Trek Crockett 7 with 700 x 33c tyres with SKS raceblades fitted. as the bike comes with no connector holes i will have to use p-clips. Do you know if it will still fit given the mudguards? and will Ortleib panners fit on it ideally the 20lt classics with Q1 or Q2 fittings?
    A. The rack should fit but you might have to tweak the position of your Raceblades to accommodate it and shift it down your seat stays a little. The Ortlieb classics will be fine on that rack.
    Q. Hi, I just bought one of these but it doesn't seem to have any instructions with it. Would it be possible to email these? It's to fit on a Genesis CDF.
    A. We do not unfortunately have instructions for the pannier racks however TPOEAK provide a set of instructions that is fairly universal. I have attached them below. If you do not find them helpful, there are many guides online that can help you out with the process and if you were to call us on the numbers below we would be happy to assist as well.
    Q. What size are the P clips that come with the rack?
    A. Thanks for your question. This rack comes with P-clips that are approx 16mm.
    Q. I have a felt 2.1 road back which does not have eyelet to clip pannier rack on to. Is there an alternative? HOw do the P clips work?
    A. Thanks for your question. We're not too familiar with Felt, generally if a bike doesn't have eyelets it hasn't been designed with carrying heavy loads in mind. That said, you should still be able to fit a rack using p-clips - these wrap around your stays to give your bike mounting points, or you could fit a seat tube rack like this.
    Q. The p clips that came with this rack are not big enough for my bike. Could you please let me know what size they are? I want to order some bigger ones.
    A. Thanks for your email. The p-clips that come with this rack are 16mm (it is the internal dimension that is measured, ie, approx the diameter of the the tube the clip is being fitted to).
    Q. Will this rack fit on a 29" wheel?
    A. Yes, this rack will fit a 29" wheel. If you are fitting a mudguard as well you will be limited with tyre width to around 1.75" but otherwise it should fit fine.
    Q. Hi, I was interested in versatile rear racks that will take a pannier. I have a Trek 7.2 Wmns 15"" bike; it has a rear Torttex rack which only fits at an angle and makes it difficult to get on& off - I am quite short. I have seen a similar model fitted with an Axiom rack or would one of your Revolution models fit better. The bike has mudguards & I would want the rack to fit as close to the mudguard as possible. Many thanks.
    A. We wouldn't expect there to be much difference between the fittings of your current Tortec rack and our own Revolution models, this would therefore probably not solve your problem. From your description it sounds like your rack may be actually fitted incorrectly. If you are close to one of our stores, the guys there would be more than happy to have a look at this and hopefully establish whether it can be straightened out.
    Q. Hi I have got a Giant XTC1 2003 model. Will any of your pannier racks fit the bike ? Thanks,
    A. For a 26" mountain bike with rack mount points (at the top of the seat stay and near the drop outs) we would recommend using this rack. If you have disc brakes on your bike (don't believe the '03 XTC does) you would need a disc specific rack. If you would like to place an order or have any more questions please give us a call.
    Q. Hi,I'm Looking for a Pannier Rack for my Revolution Spur XC '12 mountain bike, but so far i haven't found one which fit my bike. I don't know this Adventure Pannier Rack Expedition will fit my bike or not, or other choices...Thank you so much.
    A. The Revolution Pannier Rack Expedition or Mountain will fit the Revolution Spur XC. We would recommend the Mountain version (see here) for the Spur as the solid top panel will double as a minimal mudguard. The other Spur model in our range the XC Disc would require a disc specific rack such as the M:Part Ridge rack (see here).
    Q. How much can it carry?
    A. This rack will carry a maximum of 25kg.
