Looking for a truly different cycling top?

Check out Duke of the Downs - a Brighton-based company who began trading in May 2015 - who collaborate with talented British artists to produce hand-designed, limited-edition collections of unique cycling jerseys.

  • 100% polyester CoolMax fast drying fabric.
  • Sublimation print artwork won't fade away.
  • Three open rear pockets + one zipped rear pocket keeps valuable to hand yet out of the way.
  • The full-length YKK zip delivers temperature control.
  • The full zip also makes this jersey easier to take off than any pullover.

This spec assures you that this jersey has all the attributes you look for in a better quality bike top. We'll leave it to the Duke of the Downs people to tell their own story.

'At Duke Of The Downs, we collaborate with talented British artists to produce hand-designed, limited-edition collections of unique cycling jerseys. Our aim is to provide cyclists with a choice of gutsy designs on comfortable, high-performance jerseys.

As cyclists ourselves, we agreed that amongst the masses of cycling jerseys available, there wasn’t much variety in style. Don’t get us wrong, we love the vintage classics, and think that some of the current team shirts are awesome - but we were looking for something a little different. Something more personal. So, we decided to make some ourselves.

We are so excited to have Chris Gordon onboard, the man who drew the designs for the current collection.

The incredibly talented Mr Gordon honed his skills at Falmouth University before going on to specialise in printmaking. Working with lino and wood cuts, he is able to carve some of the most incredible images. The results are beautiful.

His style of art is exactly what we were looking for when we pictured how we wanted this collection of jerseys to look. You can check out more of his work at www.chrisdgordon.com

All of our cycling jerseys are 100% polyester mesh with Coolmax® technology, allowing for a breathable, lightweight, moisture-wicking and fast-drying garment.

The print is made by a process called digital sublimation, which enables the images to remain sharp without affecting the breathability of the fabric. The Italian ink colours stay vivid, even after endless washing.

Elasticated side panels allow for a close, aerodynamic, yet comfortable fit, regardless of your body shape. They also allow for a unisex fit.

Each jersey is fitted with a full-length YKK front zip.

On the lower back are three pockets plus an extra, zipped valuables-pocket. Reflective tabs are fitted at both sides of the pockets.

For added comfort, the jerseys are made with overlocked seams to reduce chafing, and are fitted with a silicone gripper around the hem to prevent it rising up.

We use recycled and eco-friendly screen printed packaging.'
